| The
Milly Stories:
Corpses, Carnations, the Weirdness Index, and, of Course, Aunt Gloria
(DK Ink,
1998), a novel for older children (adults like it, too). As described
in the New York Times Book Review, "Milly is living with Uncle
Edgar and Aunt Gloria [in] the family's funeral parlor. Aunt Gloria
dies, but continues to offer advice. There are lots of other peculiar
characters in this town, and enough adventures so that ending with
an Ordinary Day parade seems a fine idea." It's a hardcover book,
131 pages. |
